Last week, we launched Odem Scientific Applications Ltd.’s community engagement initiative in partnership with the Elitzur Yavne Basketball Club.
We held a kickoff session with Odem’s leadership team that was much more than a team-building day.
We started with sports—because sometimes, moving together helps us see one another a little differently.
Next came a workshop on the Adizes model, opening a conversation about different styles, strengths, gaps, and how we can complement one another.
From there, we moved on to the “Red Queen”—the idea that, in a constantly changing world, even staying in place requires us to keep moving, developing, and renewing ourselves.
We wrapped up with a meal at a fine restaurant, the perfect ending to a special and meaningful day.
This is exactly the connection we want to build at Odem:
A company that moves forward while also looking outward.
An organization that wants to grow while contributing to the growth of the community around it.
The partnership with Elitzur Yavne feels especially natural to us—through sports, through people, through shared values of perseverance, development, and excellence, and above all, through the understanding that when we make room for people and the community, everyone benefits.
